A Textbook chapter on lasers and their use in the treatment of scars and striae written by Dr.'s Tina Alster & H.L. Greenberg. This book chapter was written while Dr. Greenberg was an internal medicine resident at Georgetown University Hospital & spent elective time with Dr. Alster observing all types of laser treatments from full face laser resurfacing to hair removal, scar and acne treatments. The chapter is a review of the literature on the laser treatments for scars and striae (stretch marks).

Dr. Greenberg's first book chapter was written on Parasitic diseases of the skin. The book chapter was written in conjunction with Dr. Harry Sharata, a dermatologist in Madison, Wisconsin. In the chapter the diagnosis and treatment of multiple skin infestations is discussed. There is a nice summary chart of diseases, causes and treatments located within the text.
