This is a biopsy proven basal cell cancer, which was excised using the Mohs micrographic surgical technique.<br />
            It was then closed with a bilobed flap, and the scar was revised.<br />
            The second photo was taken 3 month post-operative.

Conns Current Therapy (2004)Dr. Greenberg's first book chapter was written on Parasitic diseases of the skin. The book chapter was written in conjunction with Dr. Harry Sharata, a dermatologist in Madison, Wisconsin. In the chapter the diagnosis and treatment of multiple skin infestations is discussed. There is a nice summary chart of diseases, causes and treatments located within the text.

Conns Current Therapy (2005)Dr. Greenberg's 3rd book chapter. This revision of the 2004 edition of "Parasitic Diseases of the Skin" written in conjunction with Dr. Harry Sharata, details diagnosis and treatment of rare diseases in the US. It updates information from the previous edition related to diagnosis and treatment of these disorders. Additionally, given the global nature of travel today, it is important for the astute physician to keep these diagnosis in mind to assist in diagnosis & treatment of difficult or unusual cases.
