Fractional CO2 Laser Therapy is the current, "State of the Art" treatment for wrinkle reduction through laser skin resurfacing.  Expect wrinkle reduction, skin rejuvenation, skin texture improvement and the removal of years of sun damage with this Fractional CO2 Laser.  At Las Vegas Dermatology, we have Cynosure's SmartSkin Fractional CO2 laser, a "Game Changer" in the realm of anti-aging technology.  It used to be that CO2 laser therapy required a month of down time, but Fractional CO2 laser technology can provide results similar to traditional CO2 laser resurfacing therapy with significantly little down time. Never before have we had the ability for wrinkle reduction, anti-aging skin texture improvement and skin rejuvenation with a medical laser.

Unlike intense pulsed light therapies, chemical peels or blue light treatments, Fractional CO2 laser therapy can improve and change the appearance of facial wrinkles, liver spots and loose skin- providing a dramatic improvement in the aging face without the need for plastic surgery, a face lift or general anesthesia.  However, Fractional CO2 laser therapy can be also be used in conjunction with a face lift for plastic surgery purposes or may be used alone as a treatment for the aging face.

Besides their use in wrinkle reduction, fractional CO2 lasers are also used for acne scar removal, and as a last resort treatment for tattoo removal (Typically tattoo removal is performed by a Q Switched Nd:Yag laser, like Las Vegas Dermatology's Cynosure/Hoya Con Bio Revlite SI laser).

Having an anti-aging skin care regimen can enhance the effectiveness of your wrinkle reduction therapy.  Additionally, despite your wrinkle reduction and sun damage improvement, there still may be a lack of facial volume and persistent wrinkles in motion.  You may want to treat volume loss with a hyaluronic acid filler like juvederm or restylane and wrinkles in motion with a botulinum toxin like dysport or botox.

Improving the appearance of your skin and providing you with a "Healthier & More Beautiful Life" is our goal at Las Vegas Dermatology.

Dr. H.L. Greenberg is our dermatologist at Las Vegas Dermatology & he is available to consult on this new Fractional CO2 Laser machine.  Call Las Vegas Dermatology today (702) 456-3120 to schedule your appointment to see if fractional CO2 laser wrinkle reduction therapy with our SmartSkin Fractional CO2 Laser is right for you.

Tattoo Removal has arrived at Las Vegas Dermatology. Fresh Canvas, a division of Las Vegas Dermatology offers the most up to date treatment options for lightening or removing your tattoo.  As seen in this video, we have the new RevLite SI Q Switched Nd:Yag laser.

Tattoos may be removed with a Q-Switched laser.  Not all Q-Switched lasers and tattoo removal providers are created equal.  Our laser is new and it is fantastic! Ask your tattoo removal provider which laser it is that they will be using to treat your tattoo?  The lasers at Las Vegas Dermatology are the best for what they do, don't settle for older and inferior technology, click on this link to see the specifications of our RevLite SI tattoo Removal laser

Before we begin treatment, a series of questions will be asked of you to determine your goals with the tattoo that you have- removal vs. lightening. A determination will be made based upon the color of ink used, age of the tattoo, body location, and type of tattoo- amateur vs professional as to how many treatments will be required for your particular tattoo removal. We will suggest a series of treatments because 1 treatment will not be enough to entirely remove an unwanted tattoo, and your satisfaction is our ultimate goal. Typically, it takes between 5-15 treatments over the course of a few months for a tattoo to be considered gone.  Different inks respond differently to the tattoo removal laser, typically turquoise colors are the most difficult ones to clear, whereas black ink may clear more quickly.  People who have lighter skin types tend to respond more quickly than darker skinned individuals.  Amateur and older tattoos may clear more quickly than Professionally placed and newer tattoos.

Click here to watch Larry's Laser Tattoo removal journey video, and see what you can expect when our RevLite SI laser is used to remove your tattoo.  Because it takes a number of treatments to remove a tattoo, it can take up to a year before your journey to Fresh Canvas is complete.  You could have your unwanted tattoo treated someplace else, but if you want the best, then Call to schedule your complimentary consultation today (702) 476-6301, "Fresh Canvas" awaits!

“Why did I create Las Vegas Dermatology? Because I wanted to have the type of place where I would want to go as a patient- a caring, educational, warm and hi-tech environment where quality is the most important component. I knew that so long as we provided great quality, and put the patient first, we would be successful! I have seen so many other practices throughout my career doing things that I thought were great and others that I questioned, but in the end I figured that with my focus on providing the best experience for my patients, that Las Vegas Dermatology could assist in providing its patients with a healthier & more beautiful life.”
