At Las Vegas Dermatology, we provide BOTOX® therapies to reduce wrinkles and improve your appearance. BOTOX® Cosmetic is a simple, nonsurgical, physician-administered treatment that can temporarily smooth moderate to severe frown lines between the brows in people from 18 to 65 years of age. It is the only treatment of its type approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). |
Above pictures show a patient prior to Botox therapies with a series of standard facial expressions. In the last photograph, two weeks after Botox, the patient is unable to animate in the treated areas.
While a resident at Scott & White of the Texas A&M University Health System, Dr. Greenberg's interest in drug reactions and alternative treatments to skin cancers blossomed. A series of patients with severe clinical reactions to imiquimod, but wonderful outcomes was recognized by Dr.'s Greenberg, Cohen, Orengo & Rosen. An article was written about these patients- and a presentation based on these patients earned Dr. Greenberg an award at the Texas Dermatological Society meeting of May 2006.
Greenberg HL, Cohen JL, Orengo I, Rosen T. Severe reaction to 5% imiquimod cream with excellent clinical and cosmetic outcomes, Journal of Drugs in Dermatology Vol 6, Issue 4; April, 2007 pgs 452-458.
While a fellow and 1st year dermatology resident at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Dr. Greenberg worked with Dr. Gary Wood on this journal article regarding the staging and monitoring of patients with Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma- a type of skin cancer that is not thought to be related to sun exposure, but is rather a type of lymphoma that preferentially goes to the skin- more advanced stages may involve internal organs.
If you have lost some of the volume that made your face look more youthful, and desire a more youthful appearance, Restyane may be the right filler for you. Restyane is a Hyaluronic Acid Filler. Hyaluronic Acid is a natural filler, which, unlike collagen can be dissolved if necessary. Most Hyaluronic Acid Fillers last from 6 to 9 months, but could last up to a year or more. A typically appointment for injection will last for 15 minutes, but may take up to 45 minutes if topical numbing or lip injections are required. Restyane has recently been indicated for injection in the lips. Fuller lips are a phone call away. If you would like to get the volume back in your face, call Las Vegas Dermatology today for an evaluation and treatment- (702) 456-3120.
While a Dermatology Resident at Scott & White of the Texas A&M Health System, Dr. Greenberg was interviewed by the Temple Daily Telegram on the dangers of tanning. The article ran in the March 23, 2006 edition of the paper.
Just like smoking cigarettes or drinking alcohol can be hazardous to one's health, being in the sun carries inherent dangers. Many times the 1st cigarette, drink, or sunburn is not the one of the most concern, it is the cumulative effect of dangerous or unhealthy behaviours that carries the most risk.
In 2009, Las Vegas Dermatology and Dr. Greenberg continued to provide complimentary safe sun screenings at local casino pools at the Venetian and Mirage hotels. These services were provided in combination with Xania Woodman of the Las Vegas Weekly for skin cancer awareness month (the month of May).
In 2008, Las Vegas Dermatology in combination with Skin Cancer Survivor/Model Denise Pernula and Xania Woodman of the Las Vegas Weekly/The Circuit provided complimentary skin cancer screenings poolside at local casino venues for skin cancer awareness month (the month of May).
